Murder Victim Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico July 6, 2025 The Federal Bureau of Investigation in El Paso, Texas, is seeking information regarding the death of Alan Valenzuela. Early on the morning of July 6, 2025, Valenzuela, a United States Citizen from Presidio, Texas, was at a bar in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, with two American friends when a cartel-related shooting occurred outside the bar.
The men stayed inside for a short time and then went to their vehicle to drive back to the Presidio Port of Entry to return to the United States. While driving, their vehicle received gunfire which struck and killed Valenzuela who was in the backseat.
The vehicle crossed back into the United States where Valenzuela was pronounced deceased.
