Alonzo Brooks, a 23-year-old mild-mannered man, attended a party at a rural house outside La Cygne, Kansas on April 3, 2004, and never returned home. Nearly a month later, on May 1, 2004, a family-organized search party of 50 volunteers discovered his body in brush along a creek in Linn County. Despite an autopsy, the cause of death could not be determined, leaving a critical question: what happened at that party and who may be responsible?
