On June 8, 2025, between 5:20 Pacific Time and 6:00 Pacific Time, a group of individuals ignited and poured an unknown substance around Waymo Autonomous Driving Vehicles (ADV) located near Los Angeles Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

The fires resulted in the complete destruction of the ADVs, with the estimated monetary value of this damage being $215,000 per vehicle. The FBI does not open investigations based on First Amendment protected activity.
