Houston, Texas August 14, 2024 The FBI's Houston Field Office and the Harris County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual responsible for the vandalism of the Baitus Samee Mosque, located at 1333 Spears Road in Houston, Texas. On August 14, 2024, at approximately 2:37 p.m., an unidentified male suspect walked into the mosque compound and sprayed an offensive phrase in black graffiti in the Urdu language.
Prior to vandalizing the house of worship, the unidentified man parked a distinctively damaged silver Honda Accord at a nearby gas station.
