Violation of Pretrial Release (Conspiracy to Commit Mail and Wire Fraud; Mail Fraud; Wire Fraud; Misbranding of Devices; False Statements) Caution: Carlos Andres Rendon-Bermudez is wanted for violating conditions of pretrial release related to a criminal case pending in San Juan, Puerto Rico. On June 4, 2026, Rendon-Bermudez was indicted in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico for Conspiracy to Commit Mail and Wire Fraud, Mail Fraud, Wire Fraud, Misbranding of Devices, and False Statements after he allegedly represented himself to patients as a licensed dentist, had no license, and performed dental procedures on patients which caused harm to them in Ohio, Texas, New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

He was arrested on June 22, 2026, and court-ordered to home incarceration with a GPS ankle monitor in Ohio. That monitor was cut off and Rendon-Bermudez is currently a fugitive.

On July 10, 2026, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Rendon-Bermudez in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, due to his reported violation of pretrial release.
