Lebanon, Illinois September 6, 1986 On September 6, 1986, the body of an unidentified female (H-W/F/27) was found in a cornfield off a dirt road near Oak Grove School Road in Lebanon, Illinois. The victim was found nude, strangled, and her genitalia mutilated. The victim was later identified in 2007 as Eulalia Chavez of Palo Alto, California. According to her family, Chavez ran away from her home between 1975 and 1976. Chavez had been hitchhiking and was possibly following a band at the nearby music venue known as Stonehenge. Detectives are attempting to identify anyone associated with Chavez and/or anyone who has information on the homicide or events surrounding the homicide.
