April 18, 1973 Garnett, Kansas On April 18, 1973, decomposing remains of an unidentified male were found in Garnett, Kansas. Clothing on the body included a brown corduroy jacket, a green long-sleeved button-up shirt, blue jeans with a stop sign emblem on the rear pocket, black gloves, a navy-blue stocking cap, and waffle stomper shoes. He also had two gold rings with crosses, a gold ring with the number “78”, and a silver chain with a large cross. At the time he lived in Kansas City, Kansas, which is approximately 78 miles north of where Dollison’s body was recovered.
