On July 25, 2020, at approximately 2:48 a.m., Lila Harrison and Guy Sabori were shot and killed when occupants of a black pickup truck opened fire on their vehicle at the intersection of Goodyear Road and Highway 587 in the Gila River Indian Community south of Chandler, Arizona. A third passenger was also wounded in the attack, and the same truck was believed responsible for a second shooting in the Snaketown neighborhood about ten minutes later, injuring two more people. The identities of the shooters remain unknown, and the FBI is seeking public assistance to solve these murders.

Murder Victims Gila River Indian Community, Arizona July 25, 2020 The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Phoenix Field Office is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the murders of Lila Harrison and Guy Sabori in the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona. Early in the morning of July 25, 2020, Guy Sabori was driving eastbound along Goodyear Road with Lila Harrison and another passenger on the Gila River Indian Community south of Chandler, Arizona.
At approximately 2:48 a.m., Sabori came to a stop at Goodyear Road at the intersection with Highway 587. Sabori paused as he was approached by a black pickup truck driving southbound on Highway 587.
The truck slowed, turned onto Goodyear Road, and pulled next to Sabori’s vehicle. Unknown occupants of the truck then shot several rounds into Sabori’s vehicle, striking and killing Sabori and Harrison, while also hurting the third passenger.
The truck continued westbound along Goodyear Road where its occupants were believed to have been involved in another shooting where two additional individuals suffered gunshot wounds in the Snaketown neighborhood approximately ten minutes after Sabori and Harrison were killed.
Guy Sabori's vehicle was stopped at the intersection when a black pickup truck pulled alongside and unknown occupants fired multiple rounds, killing Sabori and Harrison and wounding a third passenger.
Approximately ten minutes after the initial shooting, the black pickup truck was believed involved in another shooting in the Snaketown neighborhood, injuring two additional individuals.
