MASS SHOOTING - CHARLOTTE

Justice is overdue — the trail went cold in 2020, but the truth hasn't.

Charlotte, North Carolina June 22, 2020 The FBI's Charlotte Field Office is assisting the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in the ongoing investigation of a mass shooting that occurred on June 22, 2020, along the 1800 block of Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. More than 150 rounds were fired into a crowd of approximately 400 people attending a Juneteenth celebration. Investigators believe more than one person fired into the crowd. Three people died of gunshot wounds and another was killed by a car fleeing the scene.
