Missing Person: Juana Mateo-Hernandez

NamUs case MP160873. Missing person: Juana Mateo-Hernandez. Last known contact: 2022-03-18 in Acworth, Cherokee, GA. Circumstances: Juana, who was a 15 years old unaccompanied child from Guatemala, ran away with her 20 year old cousin/boyfriend. The two were later determined to have passed through a toll camera heading north out of Georgia. There was some communication Juana had with a family member. The trail grew cold until the case was reinvestigated in 2024 and she was traced to two possible locations in Cincinnati, Ohio. Juana frequently sends money back to her family in Guatemala via wire transfers. She was tracked to two locations in Cincinnati and was actually captured on the porch of one of the homes by the Google Street View vehicle. However, local law enforcement was not able to get anyone to answer the doors at both locations and stopped checking after their attempts and is no longer in communication regarding this individual. Juana appears to still be in Cincinnati. Demographics: 16 years, Female, Hispanic / Latino. Physical description: 4 ft 9 in, 110 lbs, hair: Black, eyes: Brown.
