Kathy Joan Arredondo, a 37-year-old woman, disappeared from her Houston home on February 12, 2012, after an argument with her boyfriend in which he disabled her vehicle. She left the house with only her keys, cell phone, and cigarettes—leaving behind her identification, wallet, clothing, and other possessions—and has not been heard from since, which is highly unusual given her close family ties.
