Lead #2

Why did Kathy take only her keys, phone, and cigarettes but leave behind her identification, wallet, ATM card, and all clothing and personal items? Does this pattern suggest abduction rather than voluntary departure?

⏰
timeline
Lead #3

The fiancé disabled Kathy's vehicle to prevent her from leaving, then left the house himself. What was he doing during the hours between his departure and his return at 5 AM?

Kathy Joan Arredondo, a 37-year-old woman, disappeared on February 12, 2012, from Houston, Texas, after an argument with her boyfriend in which he disabled her vehicle. She left the house with her daughter, returned home, and was last seen asleep by her daughter at 10:30 PM; when her daughter woke the next morning, Kathy was gone, leaving behind her identification, wallet, and most possessions but taking only her keys, phone, and cigarettes. The circumstances—her stated intention to leave her boyfriend, his control over her mobility, and her uncharacteristic silence with family—raise serious concerns about foul play rather than voluntary departure.
