MURDERS IN ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO

Unknown Suspect(s) June and July of 2026 The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Albuquerque Field Office, the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office, and the Roswell Police Department in New Mexico are asking for the public’s assistance in solving three murders in Roswell, New Mexico. The body of Kent Hoffmann was found in the Hondo River Channel on June 14, 2026. He is described as a White male born in 1969, 5'2", approximately 145 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. The body of Andrew Lujan-Huerta was found in the Hondo River Channel on July 14, 2026. He is described as a Hispanic male born in 1979, 5'8", approximately 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The body of Karl Affsprung was found 10 miles east of Roswell on July 29, 2026. He is described as a White male born in 1967, 5'7", approximately 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
