Chicago, Illinois July 2015 - November 2019 Series Summary: Date: 2015-2019 Time of day : Late evening – Early morning hours Offender: Hispanic, Male, Spoke with an accent or was non-English speaking Possible Vehicles: Toyota Prius, or vehicle used as a rideshare Between July 2015 and November 2019, six sexual assaults occurred in the late evening or early morning hours in the Chicago, Illinois, area. All the victims were white females ranging in age from 21 to 41 years old.
The victims recall that the assailant either had an accent or was non-English speaking. In two of the incidents, a Toyota Prius was possibly used.
Some victims state they believed they were getting into an Uber, Lyft, or taxi and in some instances, items had been stolen from the victims. Some of the items stolen were later recovered dumped at a different location.
DNA has been obtained linking all six cases to the same unknown offender.
