September 15, 2006 Seneca, Missouri On September 15, 2006, Walter A. Mosier was last seen in Seneca, Missouri.

On March 15, 2007, the skeletal remains of Mosier were located next to Interstate 44 and a quarter mile south of the Flying J Travel Center (truck stop) in Sullivan, Missouri. According to the medical examiner, Mosier had been deceased for approximately six months.

Mosier’s cause of death was identified as homicidal violence including blunt craniocerebral trauma and blunt sharp trauma of the neck and chest. Franklin County Sheriff’s office is seeking information from anyone who may have known the victim or may have information on this case.
